On the south part of Paros, on the way to Drios, there is the village Agairia. There, you will find Anemomilos (Windmill) gallery.
Anemomilos is a small multi-use center that combines the tradition of the Cyclades with modern facilities. It was built on 1898 by the owner's grandfather, who has been working as a miller for many years. Then, the owner's father has been producing flour that was valuable for the residents of the area.
The wind mill has been renovated by Stephanos Ragousis in a way that its machinery, which you can visit, has kept its historical tradition. In the summer, at the external space of the mill, various exhibitions of both Greek and foreign artists who live in Paros take place.
There is also a shop where you can find handmade art items such as ceramics, icons, wood carvings, photos, paintings and postcards, many of which are creations of the owner.
In a beautiful and cool yard, under the shadow of the Mill, and with a view to the bay of Aliki, you will find Anemomilos' cafeteria and restaurant, where you can taste an exquisite version of the Greek cuisine as well as delicious traditional recipes from Paros, meat, pasta, sweets or ice cream.
