Giannos Kouragios
Responsible archaeologist of Paros - Antiparos and Despotiko.
Giannos Kouragios holds a degree in Archaeology from the University of Florence and an Honors Degree in Prehistoric Archaeology from the Faculty of Philosophy. He speaks Italian and English.
Dissertation: "Thermi, Lesvos. A prehistoric city of the Aegean Sea".
1982-1983. Degree in the Conservation of Antiquities from the private school "Lo sprones".
1995-today Cycle B of postgraduate studies, Phd thesis: "The ancient potteries in Parikia, Paros", Department of History and Archaeology, Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He has a vast experience in his field, due to various projects (excavations, supervisions etc.) in various areas of Greece, where antiquities are found. He has produced many publications, most of which are on the antiquities of Paros and Antiparos, he has given many talks, published books and he is still into writing, mainly on the antiquities of Paros and Antiparos.
